Eric Linden
Eric Linden (September 15, 1909 – July 14, 1994) was an American actor known for his work primarily during the 1930s. Born in New York City to Phillip and Elvira Linden, he was of Swedish descent. Linden's father was a professional pianist and stage actor in Stockholm, Sweden. At a young age, Linden began working to support his family, washing dishes and selling newspapers. He attended Angela Patri elementary school and later DeWitt Clinton High School, where he participated in school plays. After graduating from Columbia University, Linden initially pursued a career in writing, having written three plays and 40 short stories by the age of 22. However, he eventually found success as an actor in films and on stage.
