Erin Jackson (born September 19, 1992) is an American speed skater, roller derby player, and Olympic gold medalist. She made history as the first Black woman to win a Winter Olympic gold medal in an individual sport. Jackson competed in inline speed skating at The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland, and qualified for the 500 meters long track speed skating event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. In November 2021, she became the first Black American woman to win in the Speedskating World Cup, setting two track records. At the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Jackson won the gold medal in the Women's 500m speed skating event, making her the first Black American woman to medal in speed skating.
