Evan Kleiman

Evan Kleiman is a renowned chef, author, radio host, and restaurant owner. She has been the radio host of Good Food on KCRW since 1997, a show that won the Best Audio Series award from the IACP in 2012. With a bachelor's degree and MA from UCLA, Kleiman opened Angeli Caffe in 1984, a popular Italian restaurant that operated for 28 years. She is the author of eight books on Italian cuisine and has developed the app 'Easy as Pie.' Kleiman is widely respected for her role as a moderator in the award-winning documentary Food, Inc., and for her expertise in teaching college classes on food sustainability. Additionally, she organizes culinary tours in Italy and founded Slow Food L.A.'s chapter.
