Fahad Albutairi

Fahad Albutairi (born May 12, 1985) is a Saudi stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter. He is widely recognized as the first Saudi Arabian comedian to perform professionally in Saudi Arabia and across the Arab states of the Persian Gulf. Albutairi gained fame as one of the most prominent YouTube personalities in Saudi Arabia. Born in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Albutairi started his stand-up comedy career while studying at the University of Texas at Austin. His material often explored his experience as a Saudi foreign student in post-9/11 America. He made his debut in the Arab world on October 2, 2008, opening for renowned comedians Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani.
