Farah Alvin (born September 28, 1976) is an American theatre actress known for her work on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and is the daughter of renowned cinematic poster artist John Alvin and Andrea Alvin. At the age of sixteen, Alvin won the Spotlights Award, a prestigious scholarship competition for the Los Angeles Music Center, which led to her performing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. After receiving a scholarship to the Brooklyn College music conservatory, she relocated to New York City. Her first Broadway credit was in the musical Grease, and she has since appeared in productions such as Saturday Night Fever, Nine, and The Look of Love. Alvin has also made appearances in Off-Broadway productions.
