Fenella Justine Therese Woolgar (born 4 August 1969) is an English actress known for her work in film, theatre, television, and radio. She has appeared in various films including Bright Young Things (2003) and Victoria and Abdul (2017). On television, she is recognized for her roles in Doctor Who, where she portrayed crime novelist Agatha Christie, as well as appearances in Inside Number 9 and Call the Midwife as Sister Hilda. Born in London, Woolgar has dual UK and Irish citizenship due to her mother's Irish descent. She attended Mayfield School, Durham University, and later graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
