Francesco Daniele Quinn (March 22, 1963 – August 5, 2011) was an Italian-born American actor. He is best known for his breakout role as Rhah in Oliver Stone’s Academy Award-winning Platoon (1986). Quinn's first major role on television was in the 1985 prime-time miniseries Quo Vadis?. He also voiced the Autobot Dino (Mirage) in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Born in Rome, Italy, Quinn was the son of Oscar-winner Anthony Quinn and costume designer Iolanda Addolori. He had Mexican, Irish, and Italian ancestry. Quinn appeared in various feature films, including A Star For Two with Lauren Bacall, and acted alongside his father in several films. His final role was in Placebo Effect, a New York Independent Film Festival winner.
