Franklin Thomas Francisco, born September 11, 1979, is a former professional baseball pitcher from the Dominican Republic. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Mets, and Chicago White Sox. Francisco began his career with the Boston Red Sox before being traded to the Chicago White Sox in 2002. In 2003, he was traded to the Texas Rangers, where he became involved in a notable incident of fan violence when he threw a folding chair into the crowd during a game against the Oakland Athletics.
