Gabrielle Brooks

Gabrielle Brooks (born 28 January 1990) is an English actress known for her performances in various stage productions. She gained recognition for her role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind, where she started her acting career as a child actress. Brooks was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for her exceptional performance in Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical. In addition to her acting career, she is the creative director of the Mawa Theatre Company and also produces the interview series BlackStage UK. Born and raised in London, Brooks is of Jamaican and Guyanese descent. She attended Sir George Monoux College and later graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
