Garry Peters Biography
Garry Lorne Peters (born October 9, 1942) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and head coach. He had a successful career in the National Hockey League (NHL) playing for teams such as the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, and Boston Bruins. Peters also played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for the New York Raiders and New York Golden Blades/Jersey Knights. Throughout his career, he achieved notable accomplishments including being named the CPHL Rookie of the Year in the 1963-64 season and receiving the Les Cunningham Award in 1971-72.
