Gary Cahill

Gary James Cahill (born 19 December 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Cahill began his career in the AFC Dronfield youth system before joining the Aston Villa Academy in 2000. He made his Aston Villa debut after a successful loan spell at Burnley in 2004. Cahill later played for Sheffield United on a three-month loan deal. In 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for around £5 million, where he made 130 league appearances and scored 13 league goals. In January 2012, Cahill joined Chelsea for approximately £7 million, winning numerous titles including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
