Gary Wales
Gary Wales is a Scottish former professional footballer, born on 4 January 1979. He started his career at Hamilton as a striker, scoring 11 goals in 35 games before moving to Hearts for £50,000. During his five-year tenure at Tynecastle, Wales scored 17 goals in 92 appearances. He also had loan spells at Walsall and signed for Gillingham and Kilmarnock. In 2008, Wales joined Raith Rovers, where he became a regular goalscorer and won the Scottish Second Division championship in April 2009. He later pursued an opportunity in Australia, joining North Queensland Fury. Wales has represented Scotland at the U21 level.
