Gavin Marshall Biography
Gavin Mark Marshall (born 25 March 1960) is a former Australian politician. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party and served as a Senator for Victoria from July 2002 to June 2019. Marshall was born in Melbourne and had a background as an electrician and official with the Electrical Trades Union before entering politics. He was elected Deputy President of the Senate on 7 July 2014 and served in that position until 9 May 2016. Marshall's notable contributions include his active participation in parliamentary voting.
