Gaz Choudhry Biography
Gaz Choudhry MBE (born June 23, 1985) is a British wheelchair basketball player. He began playing the sport at the age of thirteen and has since represented Great Britain in numerous international tournaments. Choudhry was selected to play for Paralympics GB in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Choudhry became an amputee at the age of ten. He moved to Ealing, London, with his family at thirteen and attended Walford High School. As a class 4.0 wheelchair basketball player, Choudhry has won two gold and silver medals at a young age and was chosen for the All Star team at the European Championships in Adana, Turkey.
