Geoffrey Blythe (died c. 1530) was the Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield. Born in Norton, Derbyshire (now part of Sheffield), to William Blythe and a sister of Thomas Rotherham, Archbishop of York, Blythe attended Eton and King's College, Cambridge. He was ordained a priest in 1496 and served as a special ambassador to Vladislas II, King of Hungary and Bohemia, in 1502. King Henry VII valued his abilities and frequently employed him for foreign embassies. Blythe was named the bishop of Coventry and Lichfield after his return. He also held the position of president of the Council of Wales and the Marches from 1512 to 1524. Blythe's brother, John, was the Bishop of Salisbury.
