Geoffrey Whitehead (born 1 October 1939) is an English actor known for his versatile performances in television, film, and radio. He has made notable appearances at prestigious theaters such as Shakespeare's Globe, St Martin's Theatre, and the Bristol Old Vic. Whitehead was born in Grenoside near Sheffield and received an RAF benevolent grant after his father's death in World War II. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he became friends with fellow student John Thaw. Whitehead has appeared in films like The Raging Moon (1971), Kidnapped (1971), and Shooting Fish (1997). His television credits include roles in Bulldog Breed (1962), Z-Cars (1964–1965 and 1972–1975), Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em (1973), and Wodehouse Playhouse.
