George Hannigan

George Hannigan (born 16 September 1987) is an Irish Gaelic football player who played at inter-county level for Tipperary. He made his championship debut in 2006 and played for Tipperary in various competitions throughout his career. Hannigan played as a midfielder and was known for his contributions to the team. He helped Tipperary reach their first All-Ireland semi-final since 1935 in 2016. Hannigan also achieved success in the National Football League, winning Division 3 titles in 2009 and 2017, as well as a Division 4 title in 2014. On 24 October 2018, he announced his retirement from inter-county football.
