George Stumpf
George Frederick Stumpf (December 15, 1910 – March 6, 1993) was an American professional baseball outfielder who played for the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox in Major League Baseball. Stumpf's career spanned from 1931 to 1933 with the Red Sox and 1936 with the White Sox. In his 108 games with the Red Sox, he had a .231 batting average with one home run and 27 RBIs. Stumpf briefly returned to the majors in 1936, appearing in 10 games with the White Sox, batting .273 with five RBIs. Throughout his minor league career, he played for over 10 different teams, spanning from 1929 to 1948.
