    James Graham Hamilton McOwat, known professionally as Graham Hamilton, is a British stage and television actor. Born on 27 November 1944, Hamilton has had a successful acting career in both plays and musicals in London's West End. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Fagin in the production of Oliver! Additionally, Hamilton has played the villain in more than twenty-one pantomimes at major theaters throughout the United Kingdom. Beyond his acting work, he has been actively involved in Equity, the actors' trade union. Hamilton served as the 15th President of Equity from 2008 to 2010, having previously been the vice-president for ten years. In 2007, he received Honorary Life Membership of Equity for his distinguished service to the union.
