Graham Parker

Graham Parker is an English singer-songwriter, born on November 18, 1950, in Hackney, East London. He gained prominence as the lead singer of the British band Graham Parker & the Rumour. Parker attended Chobham Secondary Modern School in Surrey and showed an early interest in music. In his teenage years, he formed bands like the Black Rockers, although they were primarily dress-up bands and didn't play instruments. By the age of 15, Parker developed a passion for soul music and frequented dance clubs in Woking and Camberley. After leaving school at 16, he worked at the Animal Virus Research Institute in Surrey before pursuing his music career full-time.
