Graham Turner Biography
Graham John Turner (born 5 October 1947) is an English former footballer who became a manager. He had a 19-year career as a central defender in the lower divisions before transitioning into management. Turner achieved great success as the manager of Shrewsbury Town, winning the Third Division and overseeing five seasons in the Second Division. He then went on to manage Aston Villa but had limited success, resulting in his dismissal. Afterward, he joined Wolves and led them from the Fourth Division to the Second Division, winning the Football League Trophy along the way. Turner later became involved with Hereford United, initially as a manager and eventually as the majority shareholder and chairman.
