Graham Young
Graham Frederick Young (7 September 1947 – 1 August 1990), known as the Teacup Poisoner and the St Albans Poisoner, was an English serial killer. Obsessed with poisons from a young age, Young poisoned relatives and school friends, leading to his capture after a suspicious teacher contacted the police. At age 14, he pleaded guilty to three non-fatal poisonings and was detained at Broadmoor Hospital. Young later claimed responsibility for his stepmother's death, although it remains unproven. Released in 1971, he obtained a job in a Hertfordshire factory, where he fatally poisoned two colleagues and caused severe illness in others. Convicted of two murders and two attempted murders in 1972, Young spent most of his life sentence at HM Prison Parkhurst, where he died of a heart attack in 1990.
