Greg Ward

Gregory Mario Ward Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Born on July 12, 1995, in Tyler, Texas, Ward played college football at Houston, initially as a quarterback. After going undrafted, he converted to wide receiver and joined the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad in 2017. Ward was part of the team when they won Super Bowl LII. In 2019, he played for the San Antonio Commanders in the AAF. Ward grew up in a modest ranch house with his truck driver and Pentecostal pastor father. He graduated from John Tyler High School, where he excelled as a football player, winning Player of the Year in Texas High School football.
