John Gregory Kelly, born on February 15, 1956, is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He currently serves as an auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Dallas in Texas, a position he has held since 2016. Kelly attended Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas, where he obtained his Bachelor of Philosophy degree in 1978 and his Master of Divinity degree in 1982 from the University of Dallas. He was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Dallas on May 15, 1982, by Bishop Thomas Tschoepe. Pope Francis appointed Kelly as an auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Dallas on December 16, 2015, and he was ordained by Bishop Kevin Farrell on February 11, 2016.
