Hal Hudson
Hal Campbell Hudson (May 4, 1927 – July 8, 2016) was an American professional baseball player. He played as a left-handed pitcher in the Major League for the St. Louis Browns (1952) and Chicago White Sox (1952–53). Hudson was born in Grosse Point, Michigan, and stood at 5 ft tall and weighed 170 lb. His pro career spanned 13 seasons (1944–55; 1957), during which he earned a trial with the Browns after an impressive performance with the Triple-A Toronto Maple Leafs in 1951. Although his American League debut was challenging, Hudson continued to play and was eventually acquired by the White Sox. Overall, he played in six MLB games, all in relief, before retiring from professional baseball.
