Harpo Marx Biography
Harpo Marx (1888-1964) was an American comedian, actor, mime artist, and harpist, known as the second-oldest of the Marx Brothers. He gained fame for his visual comedy style, influenced by vaudeville, clowning, and pantomime. Harpo's movie appearances were characterized by his silent performances, communicating through horn blowing and whistling. He sported a distinctive curly reddish blond wig.
