Harry Judge
Harry George Judge (1 August 1928 – 2 April 2019) was a senior research fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oxford and an emeritus fellow of Brasenose College. He served as the director of the Department of Educational Studies from 1973 to 1988. Born in Cardiff, he studied at Brasenose College, earning degrees in Modern History and Theology. After completing a Ph.D. in French history, he became the director of studies at the St Katharine’s Foundation, Cumberland Lodge. He later served as the Headmaster of Banbury Grammar School and played a key role in its merger with three other secondary schools to form Banbury School. Harry Judge was a distinguished educator and scholar in the field of education.
