Harry Reasoner
Harry Reasoner (April 17, 1923 – August 6, 1991) was an American journalist and television personality. He gained recognition as a commentator and one of the original hosts of the news magazine show 60 Minutes (1968–1970, 1978–1991). Reasoner worked for both CBS and ABC News during his career. He was known for his skillful use of language and received three Emmy Awards and a George Foster Peabody Award in 1967. Born in Dakota City, Iowa, Reasoner attended West High School in Minneapolis where he developed an interest in journalism. He made a name for himself with his story titled 'The Wench of the Week.' Reasoner left a significant impact on the field of broadcast journalism.
