Heo Sung-tae

Heo Sung-tae (born October 20, 1977) is a South Korean actor known for his work in film and television. With over sixty credits to his name, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry. He gained national recognition for his role in the 2016 period thriller film The Age of Shadows and later captured international attention for his portrayal of Player #101 in the hit series Squid Game. Heo was born in Busan, South Korea, and graduated from Pusan National University, majoring in Russian. Before entering the world of acting, he worked for LG Corporation and a shipbuilding company. Heo began his acting career in 2011 after drunkenly signing up for SBS's talent show Miraculous Audition.
