    Hugh Acheson (born November 5, 1971) is a Canadian-born chef and restaurateur. He is the owner of four restaurants in Georgia and is widely known for his appearances as a judge on the reality cooking competition show Top Chef. Acheson is also an Iron Chef on Iron Chef Canada. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Acheson grew up primarily in Ottawa and spent two years living in Clemson, South Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia. He began his culinary career at the age of fifteen as a dishwasher and has since worked at various renowned restaurants in Ottawa and Montreal. Acheson's expertise and passion for cooking have made him a prominent figure in the culinary industry.
