Hunter Jones
Hunter Jones, born David Hunter Jones on January 10, 1984, is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox in 2009 and the Florida Marlins in 2010. Jones attended Florida State University, where he played college baseball in 2004 and 2005. However, he faced a setback due to a fractured arm, which required surgery. Despite going undrafted, Jones signed as a free agent with the Boston Red Sox and spent several years in their minor league system. He made his MLB debut on April 15, 2009, and later joined the Florida Marlins in a trade. Jones was released by the Marlins in 2010 after recovering from Tommy John surgery.
