Ian Bell
Ian Ronald Bell (born 11 April 1982) is an English former cricketer known for his international career with the England cricket team. He played in all formats of the game and represented Warwickshire County Cricket Club in county cricket. Bell was a right-handed batsman known for his exquisite rapier and strong cover drive. He also occasionally bowled right-arm medium pace and was a skilled slip fielder. Throughout his career, he scored twenty-two Test centuries and four One Day International (ODI) centuries. Bell was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire for his contribution to the successful Ashes campaign of 2005 and received the Emerging Player of the Year award from the International Cricket Council in 2006.
