    Ian Arthur Bremmer (born November 12, 1969) is an American political scientist, author, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and president of Eurasia Group, a renowned political risk research and consulting firm. Bremmer is also a founder of GZERO Media, a digital media firm. He has made significant contributions in the field of global political risk analysis. Bremmer's diverse heritage includes Armenian, Italian, and German descent. He grew up in Chelsea, Massachusetts and attended St. Dominic Savio High School in East Boston. Bremmer went on to earn a BA degree in international relations from Tulane University, followed by an MA and PhD in political science from Stanford University. His expertise lies in analyzing the politics of ethnicity, particularly in Russia.
