Ian Gregory Biography
Ian Gregory (or Iain Gregory; 1942–8 April 2021) was a British stuntman, singer, and potter. He gained recognition as a singer, performing songs like 'Time Will Tell' with Joe Meek and 'Can't You Hear the Beat of a Broken Heart.' In 1964, Gregory ventured into acting, appearing in the British drama film 'The System.' He attended St Martin's School of Art and became known for his innovative pottery work, including salt-glazed stoneware chest of drawers and his use of paper clay. Gregory was elected a fellow of the Craft Potters Association in 1977 and taught at Milton Abbey School and the University of the West of England. His pottery can be found in various collections, such as The Fitzwilliam Museum and Nottingham Castle Museum.
