Idan Ravin

Idan Andy Ravin (born December 23, 1970) is an American basketball trainer and attorney. Raised in Potomac, Maryland by an Israeli mother and Russian father, Ravin attended the University of Maryland, studying finance and marketing. While in college, he played in pick-up basketball games, honing his skills. After graduating, Ravin moved to San Diego and worked as an attorney before transitioning into coaching youth basketball. His unconventional training sessions with his youth teams proved successful in improving their playing ability. Continuing his coaching efforts on the East Coast, Ravin has become known for his innovative approach to training NBA players, despite never having played organized basketball beyond high school.
