India Scandrick is an American actress known for her roles in both Broadway musicals and television shows. She gained recognition as one of two girls who played the role of young Nala in the Broadway musical The Lion King. Scandrick has appeared in various television series, including Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Disney 365, and Fox TV's Sleepy Hollow. She has also showcased her acting skills in films such as The Greening of Whitney Brown. Additionally, Scandrick has been part of musical productions like A Christmas Carol and The Wiz. Notably, she became the first African-American girl to portray Little Orphan Annie. Scandrick has also ventured into music, recording her first single, 'Wrong Move,' produced by Lil' Ronnie.
