Iqbal Theba Biography
Iqbal Theba (born December 20, 1963) is a Pakistani actor, best known for his recurring role as Principal Figgins in the popular TV show Glee. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Theba belongs to the Theba tribe, a Gujarati-speaking group from Sindh. He initially pursued civil engineering at the University of Oklahoma but dropped out to pursue an acting career in New York. Theba later returned to the university to earn a theater degree before moving to Los Angeles. He gained early recognition with a role on the NBC pilot Death and Taxes, which led to recurring roles on The George Carlin Show, Married... with Children, and ER. His other credits include appearances on Nip/Tuck, Alias, and Two and a Half Men.
