Ivailo Dimitrov (Ивайло Димитров) is a retired Bulgarian football midfielder who was born on 8 January 1989 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He began his career in England, playing in the youth systems at Hendon and Brentford before returning to Bulgaria to sign for A Group club Vihren Sandanski in 2008. Dimitrov made his professional debut with Vihren Sandanski and later returned to England in 2010 to rebuild his career in non-league football. In his early years, Dimitrov showed promise, being named Hendon's 2001–02 U13 Player Of The Year and being part of the Brentford youth team that famously defeated Arsenal in the third round of the 2004–05 FA Youth Cup.
