Jack Betts

Jack Fillmore Betts, also known as Hunt Powers, is an American character actor and playwright. With a career spanning film, stage, and television, Betts has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. One of his notable roles was as Chris Devlin in the CBS mystery series Checkmate (1960-1962). He also appeared as Mr. Fisher, an 80-year-old man, on the soap opera One Life to Live in 1982. Betts has had multiple television appearances, including four roles on the CBS drama series Perry Mason. In addition to his acting career, Betts is an author and wrote the play Screen Test: Take One, which revolves around a soap opera.
