Jack Mackenroth
Jack Mackenroth (born April 29, 1969) is an American swimmer, model, and fashion designer. He gained recognition for his participation in the fourth season of American reality show Project Runway. Mackenroth attended the University of California, Berkeley, initially pursuing pre-med but later graduating with a double degree in Fine Arts and Sociology. After studying Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design, he opened a menswear store in New York City's West Village called 'Jack.' He subsequently worked for Tommy Hilfiger and designed for Levis Slates brand before becoming the design director at Weatherproof Active Wear from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, Mackenroth created a custom-designed wedding gown made entirely of condoms to promote safer sex for San Francisco's Project Inform.
