    Jack Reid (born 1925) was a Canadian watercolour artist. Born in Toronto, Reid was a self-taught artist who started as a graphic artist before becoming a full-time painter in 1970. He gained recognition for his work and taught workshops and demonstrations around the world, with over 11,000 students by the 1990s. Reid's paintings were admired for their quality, and some even made it into Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's personal collection at Windsor Castle. He received several honors, including the Commemorative Medal from the Canadian government for his contribution to Canadian art and being named Arts Person of the Year in his hometown of Brampton. Reid was also a published author and a member of various art organizations.
