Jack Tynan
Jack Tynan (5 December 1925 – 23 August 2020) was a versatile New Zealand sportsman who excelled in field hockey and cricket. Known for his exceptional skills, Tynan represented New Zealand in field hockey from 1948 to 1956, including his participation in the 1956 Olympic Games held in Melbourne. He also played four first-class cricket matches for Wellington between 1952 and 1954. With his dedication and talent, Tynan left a lasting impact on the sports community. Sadly, he passed away on 23 August 2020, leaving behind a legacy of sporting achievements.
