Jack Watkins Biography
Jack Cosgrove "Bluey" Watkins (1893-1974) was an Australian rugby league footballer. He played for the Eastern Suburbs club in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership for 14 years, winning Premierships in 1913 and 1923. Watkins represented his country in seven test matches, including the 1921–22 Kangaroo tour of Great Britain. He also played for the Australian Imperial Forces (AIF) against England during the First World War. Watkins is listed as Kangaroo No. 92 on the Australian Players Register. He passed away on July 13, 1974, at the age of 82.
