Jackie English

Jackie English is a Canadian television host, actress, dancer, choreographer, director, filmmaker, and performer. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she later moved to Montreal where she graduated from McGill University with top honors in mechanical engineering. After a year working as a consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, English pursued a full-time career in the performing arts. She became a host on TVOKids, the after-school block of children's programming on TVOntario, where she appeared in live interstitial breaks and performed original characters like Jigsaw Jill. English also interviewed notable Canadians such as Robert Munsch and Perdita Felician. She further appeared in the TVO Kids series BOD TV as Artbot and Nifty Girl.
