Jackie Stewart
Sir John Young Stewart, better known as Jackie Stewart, is a British former Formula One racing driver from Scotland. Born on June 11, 1939, he competed in Formula One from 1965 to 1973, winning three World Drivers' Championships and finishing as a runner-up twice. Nicknamed the 'Flying Scot', Stewart had a successful career, with his three championships making him the only British driver to achieve this feat until Lewis Hamilton in 2015. In addition to Formula One, he also participated in the Indianapolis 500 and the Can-Am series. After retirement, Stewart worked as a television sports commentator, covering auto racing and several summer Olympics. He also served as a television commercial spokesperson.
