Jackson Rose
Jackson Rose (1886–1956) was an American cinematographer known for his work in the film industry. He shot over a hundred and fifty short and feature films throughout his career. Rose began his career at the Chicago-based Essanay Pictures and later worked for Universal Pictures during the 1920s. Additionally, he worked with other studios such as Tiffany Pictures, MGM, Columbia Pictures, and Warner Brothers. Some of his notable works include 'The Slim Princess' (1915), 'Captain Jinks of the Horse Marines' (1916), 'The Mutiny of the Elsinore' (1920), and 'The Whispered Name' (1924).
