Jacqueline Frances, also known as 'Jacq the Stripper,' is a Canadian stripper, author, artist, and stand-up comedian. Born in Ontario, Canada in 1987, she attended McGill University, graduating in 2009 with degrees in Russian Literature and Cultural Theory. After a brief stint in the advertising industry, Frances worked as a stock photography model and dinner theatre dancer in Southeast Asia. She then moved to Australia in 2010, where she became a stripper. In 2012, Frances relocated to New York City, where she wrote her first book, The Beaver Show, and started her career in drawing and stand-up comedy. She has since published several books and co-headlined the sex-positive comedy show, Venus Fly Trap, which has toured internationally.
