Jake Bugg, born Jake Edwin Charles Kennedy on 28 February 1994, is an English singer-songwriter. Known for his folk and rock sound, he gained popularity with his self-titled debut album, 'Jake Bugg,' released in 2012, which reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Bugg's second album, 'Shangri La,' followed in 2013, and his third album, 'On My One,' was released in 2016. In 2017, he released the acoustic-focused 'Hearts That Strain,' produced by Dan Auerbach. After a four-year hiatus, Bugg returned with his fifth album, 'Saturday Night, Sunday Morning,' in 2021. Born in Nottingham, Bugg developed an interest in guitar at the age of 12 and began his musical journey.
