James Beach

James 'Jim' Beach is an American Democratic Party politician and member of the New Jersey Senate. Born on October 28, 1946, he has been representing the 6th legislative district since 2009. Beach holds a B.S. degree in psychology from Midwestern College and a M.A. degree in personnel services from Rowan University. He has been serving as the Assistant Majority Leader in the Senate since 2016. Prior to his political career, Beach entered Camden County politics in 1991 by being elected to the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders. He was named as freeholder director during his tenure. Beach is a resident of Voorhees Township, New Jersey.
