    James D. Davison (born August 28, 1986) is an Australian professional racing driver. He is known for competing in various racing series such as the Blancpain GT World Challenge America, NTT IndyCar Series, NASCAR Cup Series, and NASCAR Xfinity Series. Davison drives an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Blancpain GT World Challenge America. He is often referred to as JD or J. D. Davison. Coming from a family with a racing background, his father Jon Davison was a Formula 5000 competitor and promoter of racing events at Sandown Raceway, while his grandfather, Lex Davison, was a four-time winner of the Australian Grand Prix. Additionally, he is a cousin of V8 Supercar drivers Alex and Will Davison. Before pursuing a career in racing, Davison achieved success as part of Scotch College's championship-winning rowing crew in 2003.
